Its a disgrace that the polititions at his side are constantly denying that he has done anything wrong when they know that the facts are as plain as the nose on their faces.Do they have something to hide or is something being held over their heads?Where is the patriotism gone in Irish Politic’s or is it “with O’Leary ,in the grave”.Twenty Year’s have gone by since we were told to tighten our belt’s as we left this shore for search of a better life and a few bob in our pocket’s,little did we know that while we were sending our bit home to help,the greedy bugger’s in “The House” were lining their pockets with “dig-outs” and intrest free “loan’s” that needed no security or even paperwork.Hopefully the witch-hunt won’t just stop with the crooked polly’s,we should also be looking in the Institution’s that facilitated such loan’s.With this,I believe that we should bring back capital punishment for all polititions caught up in corruption or even suspected,if need be.This would hopefully bring back the men concerned with the country rather than those concerned about where the money for their children’s private tuition would be coming from.
1994 was a hard year for the entire Irish taxpayer community…Not just for the then Minister for Finance….how stupid do these politicians think we are ????
It is amusing listening to the Labour Party attacking Ahern and friends. In 1994, Ahern and Labour were practically consumated in marriage to each other. What followed was the ‘jobs for the boys’ episode in neoptism, where the Irish Labour Party showed that they were the experts of Irish Nepotism and Cronyism…..
The entire Dail should resign, and the Senate should be replace by a council formed from members of the various local authorities meeting in Athlone once very month for two days. Both has become irrelevant rubber stamps for EU legislation in any case.
