Gavin has proposed an event in response to calls from members of the Resign, Mr. Ahern group to have a public show of support for accountability in public life. So far over 100 have confirmed that they will attend with over 300 maybes. This size protest would be great and will dispel the myth spun my Fianna Fail PR people that people are sick of hearing about the Mahon Tribunal. I am not concerned about the few euros Bertie has embezzled but the billions coating the countryside with concrete. I am vehemently opposed to all Fianna Fail people mostly for environmental reasons, and the dumbing down of society with free education.
I am amazed and dumbfounded that there a such a group of Morons out there with nothing better to do then to call for the resignation of a Taoiseach who has done more for this country then any of his predecessors over nothing more then a few quid. What do you want running this country a Rainbow Government lead by the Muppets of Fine Geal with the lunatics of Labour and the other half-wits that make up Dail Eireann. This country needs to be run by a Fianna Fail Government.

Why do people like Bernard insist on waffling on about all Bertie has done for the country? Bernard, have you stepped inside a hospital or a school in the last decade? Do you have a helicopter to get to work or do you spend four hours a day on gridlocked roads like the rest of us? If Bertie and the rest of FF spent a fraction of the time on developing the Irish infrastructure that they spent feathering the pockets of themselves and their friends then we would have a country to be proud off. There is more to having a civilised society that having a few quid in your back pocket and an SUV in the driveway.
God I’m sure the Bert is clearing his desk as I type. Hundreds of thousands voted for Fine Gael Labour and assoted pondlife in the last election and all that could be mobilised was “over a 100″!!!
Life is good in power. Life is better knowing that this country will be led by a glorious Fianna Fáil government till rapture. Assorted sprouts and PDs in or out.

Nothing surprises me about politics in this Country.The great Charlie took £5 tax from us to emigrate in the 80s.Now we are dealing with his apprentice Bertie who has loads more cash to play around with.In the 80s we could cycle a bike with out fear of disappearing in the many potholes.My point being where has all the cash gone(no roads,no health service,no schools,no infastructure put in place for the youth to give them some choice rather than them having to turn to drink to numb the pain of boredom.They should be held accountable for their ill gotten gains,the same way as CAB was set up to deal with criminals!!!
